Indonesia Pavilion Launches a Series of Strategic Dialogues at WEF Davos 2026

Davos, 20 January 2026 — The Indonesia Pavilion officially commenced its full program at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 on Monday (20/1), following its soft opening a day earlier. Throughout its first official day, the Pavilion hosted a series of high-level discussions bringing together government leaders, business executives, investors, and international partners to highlight Indonesia's economic transformation and long-term investment priorities.

Throughout the day the Pavilion serves as Indonesia's flagship platform to engage with the global community on strategic issues ranging from human capital development and technological innovation to downstream industrialization, and sustainable finance. The discussions are part of the Pavilion's official program, available at indonesiaatdavos.com.

Secretary of the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry/Chief Secretary of BKPM Rudy Salahuddin described Indonesia Pavilion as a strategic platform to communicate Indonesia’s priorities of economic development and policy direction to the international community. “Indonesia's participation through the Indonesia Pavilion at WEF Davos 2026 demonstrates the Government's commitment to actively contribute to global economic discussions while promoting Indonesia as a credible, adaptive, and sustainable investment partner," he said.

Beyond serving as a venue for public dialogue, the Pavilion also functions as a strategic hub for economic diplomacy by facilitating engagement between Indonesian stakeholders and the international business community. Through the forum, Indonesia showcases its policy readiness, priority investment opportunities, and commitment to inclusive, sustainable economic transformation amid an increasingly dynamic global landscape.

Deputy for Investment Promotion Nurul Ichwan emphasized that the Pavilion is designed to generate tangible investment opportunities through direct interaction between policymakers and global investors. "The Indonesia Pavilion is not only a forum for public dialogue but also an active platform for collaboration. Throughout the day, it hosted numerous bilateral meetings and one-on-one discussions between representatives of the Indonesian Government and investors, multinational companies, business associations, and strategic partners from around the world," he said.

The Pavilion received strong international interest on its first official day, welcoming more than 100 visitors, including government representatives, investors, business leaders, international institutions, and other global stakeholders. Designed as an open and inclusive collaboration hub, the Pavilion facilitates meaningful exchanges and explores concrete opportunities for investment and value-added economic development.

The collaborative spirit of the Pavilion was further highlighted by Mohamad Al-Arief, Managing Director of Global Relations and Governance at Danantara Indonesia, who underscored the importance of presenting a unified national narrative to the international investment community.

"The Indonesia Incorporated narrative brings together the Government as policymaker, KADIN as the representative of the private sector, and now Danantara Indonesia as a strategic investment institution. Presenting this unified approach sends a strong message to the international community that Indonesia is moving forward with one vision and one direction," he said.

The Indonesia Pavilion will continue its program with the theme "Indonesia Endless Horizons" throughout the WEF Davos 2026. In collaboration with Danantara Indonesia and KADIN, the Indonesia Pavilion will continue to host a series of strategic discussions, high-level meetings, and collaborative initiatives aimed at generating concrete partnerships beyond the forum.
