Rudy Salahuddin

Profil

Mohammad Rudy Salahuddin, often called Rudy Bun, was born and raised in Jakarta. He completed all his formal education, from kindergarten to high school, in Jakarta. He then earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Indonesia in 1993.

He continued his studies abroad, obtaining a Master of Engineering Management (MEM) from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., in 1995. He pursued his Doctoral education at the same university, earning a Doctor of Science degree in 2002 under a scholarship from OTO-BAPPENAS.

Subsequently, he also studied Law at Universitas Terbuka (Open University), earning a Bachelor of Law degree in 2024. He also holds a Principal Professional Engineer (IPU) certification from the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII), obtained in 2023.

#### **Career History**

His career began in 1996 when he entered as a Civil Service Candidate (CPNS) at the Ministry of National Development Planning/BAPPENAS. Since 2007, he has been promoted to various echelon II positions at the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).

In 2015, he was promoted to an echelon I position at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, where he served until 2025. In May 2024, he was also appointed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia as the *Penjabat* (Acting Governor) of Gorontalo, serving until the inauguration of the definitive governor in February 2025.
